10 Cars That Should Not Have Been As Successful as They Are

Mini Cooper

The Mini-Cooper goes against the norm when it comes to sub-compact cars in the United States. Instead of having few features and upgrades, which is typically the norm for smaller cars, the Mini-Cooper is available with all the bells and whistles.

Although this is often a plus, buyers in the US market are not used to paying top dollar for smaller cars as they must sacrifice one of the most important things to think about when choosing a potential car: interior space. Therefore, it was not expected that potential buyers would be interested in spending big bucks on something that was essentially half the size of the average car since in the US, interior space is seen as a necessity. However, it turned out that the sceptics were wrong as the Mini Cooper ended up faring very well.
