Jeep usually has a reputation for designing well made, tough vehicles. However, the compass does not fit the bill. It was essentially piles of plastic moulded together with oddly shaped headlights. Jeep totally missed the mark with this one and it did nothing but tarnish the car company’s reputation. We won’t say that the Compass is the reason that it is the sole reason for the eventual Chrysler bankruptcy but it definitely did not help.
