Many drivers complained about hard to reach windshield controls. Carmakers answer to this dilemma? Instead of simply placing the control switch in an easier to reach spot, they came up with automatic windshield wipers. The only issue was that they are unreliable and super finicky. Sometimes advanced technology is not the best answer after all.
