Split front and rear windshields

The split window design was cool. These days with our single window design, we’ve lost some of the fun haven’t we? Surely a single thin strip of window divider can’t obscure vision that much?

On particular cars it used to look beautiful. Surely, some new cars would benefit from that split screen effect?

Plus, if we’re being practical – then split windows would be easier and cheaper to replace. If you have a crack in your window, you only have to replace half the window – and not the whole thing.
