Cutting-Edge Features You Don’t Want in Your New Car

Haptic interfaces

Thankfully for us consumers, this feature is on that carmakers have realized is unnecessary. The truth is that infotainment systems that users must operate while touching a mouse pad or a pressure sensitive bobble are simply frustrating and annoying to use. We have heard of drivers getting so annoyed with these systems that they avoid using them at all costs. One main reason that these systems are less than ideal is because they tend to be oversensitive and not easy to use. Seriously, sometimes if something isn’t broken there is no need to fix it. Therefore, we hope that carmakers stick with a touch screen or rotating command knob since that’s really all we need.
