What would you expect from an SUV made by Audi? 0-60mph in 5.1 seconds? A max speed of 152 miles per hour? A powerful V6 supercharged engine that’s capable of a 345hp gallop.

Maybe it’s the all wheel drive system. Perhaps the 8-speed automatic gearbox.

But the total weight could be a problem. Four thousand four hundred pounds makes for a heavyweight SUV offering. And the handling and driving experience is affected by all of that heft when your driving on windy country lanes.

It’s certainly an impressive vehicle, but is it worthy of $65,000? When there are other seriously impressive cars on the SUV market, you’ve got to have a serious crush on Audi to go through with it.

But it is fast. And it’s an Audi.
