Terrible Cars That Should Have Never Been Sold

1975-’80 AMC Pacer

Introduced in 1975 and forcing the public to endure it for a further 5 years, the AMC Pacer looked like an aquarium on wheels. The American Motor Company spent huge amounts of dollars on advertising the Pacer, but it was no use, the AMC Pacer was a complete flop. Later, when the Pacer was redesigned as a station wagon, it didn’t really do much better. In fact, if you put your shopping in the trunk, it would fall out if the right door was opened.

This car had no fuel efficiency at all and looked terrible. In fact, Time Magazine even ‘praised’ the car for its dorkiness.
