Although the Scion tC was reported as having a strong IIHS crash test from 2011-2014, it has been found that there is one major issue with this model: the majority of driver deaths occurred in single-vehicle crashes. This is a rare anomaly as most accidents occur with at least two vehicles. The issue? Rollovers. Almost one half of the driver fatalities of the Scion tC were a result of the vehicle rolling over.
