This Volkswagen is of course known for its unique style. But they are also known for their reliability. It’s for this reason that many decades later they are still being driven. Some added bonuses are that parts seem to be abundant and many of the internal components are shared with the Beetle so repairs are not usually that much of a burden. Don’t be surprised if it you find it hard to find one of these things in perfect condition though, these things are prone to fading from being out in the sun. But that just adds to the appeal for some. Although due to the nostalgia attached to many of these vans, you might find that owners are looking for a lot of money in return but if you look around a bit you might be able to find one for a decent price. And since they were built to last it likely won’t cost all that much to get them in tip top shape again.
