19. 1991-2002 Ford Escort
The Ford Escort was known as a go to car for families. One main reason for this was its modest price. Although it wasn’t the most stylish or luxurious car of its time, it offered a steadfast performance. If you are in the market for an Escort (of the Ford variety) we suggest sticking with anything from 1991 to 2002, as other models were not as durable. Don’t worry though; there definitely is not a shortage of Escorts since they were the number one selling vehicle in the U.S. for almost a decade.
