14. 1999-2006 Chevrolet Silverado and GMC Sierra 2500HD

The Chevrolet Silverado 2500HD and its GMC equivalent, the Sierra 2500HD are two more vehicles on this list that go for more than 200,000 miles more often than not. Being more heavy-duty versions of the Silverado and Sierra full-size pickups, these trucks are meant to deal with a lot of abuse and they take it no problem. Although early models have their own appeal, we are big fans of the 2500HD models that were first released in the 1999 model year. They were initially made available with a Vortec 6000 V8 powertrain with an impressive 300 horsepower and 360 pound-feet of torque, in addition to a Duramax V8 with the same horsepower but 520 pound-feet and an incredible towing ability.
