The 25 Strangest Traffic Laws In America (that you’ve probably never heard of)

Crossing the Street While Walking on your Hands

Although being able to cross the street while walking on your hands seems like a way to risk your life while gaining the attention of others (and, we would argue, mega street cred) makes sure not to do so if you ever find yourself feeling the need in Hartford, Connecticut, as it is against the law there.

Driving Through Playgrounds

This one might seem like a no brainer, but apparently that isn’t the case in Dublin, Georgia where it is illegal to drive through playgrounds. We hate to think what type of person would want to interrupt little Susie from going down the slide by running her over.

Roller-skating on the road

Although inline rollerblades are arguably more popular, in our opinion nothing beats going for a roll on classic quad skates. Where else can you practice your roller derby hitting skills than in oncoming traffic? (Okay, that might not be the best or safest idea after all). However, if you do decide to take your quad skates onto the road, make sure not to roll on by a police officer in Canton, Ohio unless you want to end up with a ticket.
