1925 Ford Model T Runabout With Pickup Body
We had to include in our list the Ford Model T version of the pickup truck. It was like a Ford Model T, but you could pick stuff up in it and drive it around! And it was rugged, durable as a camel, and it could outmatch the terrible roads and the shallow pockets of car buyers of the time.
While the Ford Model T is undoubtedly the first real car produced for the mass market, it also has the record for the first workhorse, the first mass-produced truck too.
And it’s good to know that as long as there has been cars on the road, there have also been pickups too.
