Despite suffering from one of the worst names of any truck on the list. The ‘Advanced Design’ was the top selling pick up truck in America for 8 long years.
Drivers loved the reliable ‘stovebolt’ engine under the hood. Chevrolet even listened to their customers and after surveying business owners, increased the visibility from the driver’s seat and made the cabins bigger too.
Launched in 1947, the Chevy Advanced Design symbolized the post-war optimism of the United States.
