The CLK63 is a somewhat silly idea. Take a Mercedes and fill it full with the latest and greatest technology and a luxury interior. Then add sports suspension and a race car engine. If that doesn’t do it, take all the luxuries out once again and make the suspension even better. This was the basis of AMG Black Series. Pottering around town or dropping the kids off at school was not what this vehicle was intended for. This car had one purpose and one purpose only – to drive it all out at the race track.
