MOST EXPENSIVE: FERRARI 250 GTO
In 2014, FERRARI 250 GTO (1963) sold for $38.1 US, the most ever! Currently there are three more on the market and the asking price for each is over 55 million dollars. Thirty-three GTOs were constructed in 1962 and 1963. They were developed for the FIA Group 3 Grand Touring Car category. The GTO stands for “Gran Turismo Omologato” which translates “ Grand Touring Homologated” It had 3.0 litre V12 that had 300 hp (220 kW). Because of the rarity, beauty, pedigree and race winning history, this car is highly valued.
