AMC spent a long time designing this vehicle. Heaven knows how they actually used their time. Because the AMC Hornet was like driving a hair dryer crossed with an angle grinder. They were cheap, visually offensive and a bit decrepit. You kinda felt sorry for them – the Hornet was a used car in new car clothing.
