The Peugeot 504 Cabriolet was meant to be an alternative option to what the more luxury car manufacturers had served up in the UK. And, unlike most of the cars on this list, it was a very good car to look at, beautiful even. Stylish.

However, it was under the hood that the car became truly disappointing. The rubbish 97 brake horsepower was just pathetic.

These days, people buy the Peugeot 504 Cabriolet because they are classically elegant and very good looking. Still, if you want to drive one, it’s better if you start off from the top of a hill and let it build up some momentum.
