Chrysler Cordoba
They called it a ‘Personal Luxury Coupe’ and their first attempts at this car weren’t awful. But when in 1978 they added some boxy, rectangular headlights, it went from bad to worse. Even with all that high quality leather interior, it was still a lemon. Cordoba is a place in Spain that’s known for its stunning Byzantine style. The folks at Chrysler had clearly never been to Spain. Nonetheless, the Cordoba is a collectible car, with a loyal group of fans and owners. The only question that remains is – why?
