What Made It So Awful: With all this rebadging going on, it was good to see another terrible attempt at passing off one poor car as another. The Mercury Lynx was actually the Ford Escort. The Escort was popular. The Lynx was not. But while people might actually still remember the Ford Escort, who would remember this dreadful hunk of junk?
