What Made It So Awful: Pontiac had experienced a flop a few years before the Fiero with the poorly titled Pontiac Trans Am Turbo. Don’t be fooled by the word Turbo, don’t be taken in. This car was slower than a donkey. Actually, it was so slow that the non-turbo version of the Trans Am was faster than it was. Now, the Trans Am had a nice look about it – but only if you’re nostalgic for the sounds of the Seventies and lots of chest hair.
