Dodge Viper ACR
When you see the Dodge Viper ACR, you cannot help thinking about high speed, killer torque films such as The Fast and the Furious franchise of films. This is a top racing car that’s also capable of being driven on the road too. And it is one of the sexiest looking cars on the planet, it oozes high performance and it turns heads everywhere you drive it.
You couldn’t put a lawnmower motor in this thing of beauty. This car needs an enormous V10 engine with a 6-speed manual transmission. Would you be surprised that it offers a remarkable 645 brake horsepower too? This thing roars down the street like you’re riding a pride of lions. This is a car that would stand up to a challenge from practically any car on the planet.
But all of that phenomenal power and excellent performance comes a cost. And that cost is to the environment.
For a big old fast beast, the EPA have rated the Dodge Viper as consuming one gallon of gas for every 21 miles. But its in terms of its CO2 where it really shows off its true villainy. With an appalling 1.3 pounds of carbon dioxide every mile, it’s a master of environmental disaster every place it goes.
It may be one of the best driving experiences of your life, but it will certainly be one of the worst polluters of any vehicle on any road anywhere in the world.
