1976-1990 Aston Martin Lagonda
Aston Martin stunned the car world with their Lagonda, a unique, unabashed, cutting edge Rolls-Royce killer that may have also been a time machine. Even for a car produced in the Seventies, this huge car had a digital dashboard read out, touch controlled instruments, and a computing system that dealt with everyone from the engine to the car’s emissions.
However, for some reason, Aston Martin’s quality management was caught woefully sleeping and this car had a ton of problems and they never really got around to sorting them out.
Nevertheless, in the world of hidden headlights, the Lagonda had the biggest ever created. Unfortunately, these were removed from the model in 1987, taking the edge off this innovative Aston Martin and leaving it as just an expensive Rolls Royce wanna-be.
