If this car drives past you in the street, or overtakes you on the highway, you would remember it, you’ll be looking at its rear end and fantasizing that you could drive one of your own.

The Miura is a mid-engined car, but that V-12 3.9 liter engine offers an immense 350 brake horsepower. When you add that to the car’s attractive looks, you cannot help but be impressed. Of course, it comes with those flirtatious pop-up headlights too, exactly what you expect to see on the King of Supercars.

But to be honest, you won’t find many on the road today. The value of the Miura has gone through the roof in the past few years. Most owners won’t risk driving the car anywhere they might damage it. This is a shame, like keeping a work of art out of view, the Miura is designed to turn heads on the open road and not become some kind of museum piece.
