Automatic braking
Forward collision warnings and automatic breaking seem like an awesome addition. Again, any feature that makes the cars we drive safer is something we appreciate carmakers wanting to produce. For instance, automatic braking, which can prevent accidents in that split second before a near miss. However, the sad reality is that this automatic braking can be startling to the person driving as well as the passengers in the car. They can also be dangerous in the event that a harmless obstruction happens to strike the sensitive sensory system in the “wrong” way. For example, some drivers have reported that they have had their cars break automatically after a piece of litter is thrown from the car ahead of them and strikes their car’s sensory system.
