4. 1981-1984 BMW 3 Series

The BMW 3 Series E30 models from 1981 to 1984 at the time represented a peak of reliability. This is why it is still considered by many as a legendary BMW. The E30 3 series could best be described as an E21 with updated styling and improved suspension. They weren’t even that expensive considering they were, after all, BMWs. In this year range, the 3 Series was available as a coupe or a sedan at first but even more body styles were made available in later years.
