Not unlike the Cherokee, the Grand Cherokee are also known for their reliability. An added bonus is that the Grand Cherokee is an all around great family car and built with winter driving in mind. The first generation of the Cherokee came equipped with full instrumentation and a cloth interior. When first made available, the only option when it came to engines was an AMC 4-liter I6. Although in time other options were added, it was still the most popular engine for this vehicle.
