The 25 Most Reliable Cars Ever

8. 1994-1999 Nissan Maxima

Nissan pulled out all the stops when they created the 1994 Maxima. Really they didn’t have much of choice since it was necessary to compete with the Toyota Camry. The end result was a car that was not only reliable but also fun to drive. Even years later, the majority of Maxima owners report not having to do much, if any, maintenance on their Maximas. Some wait until the 250,000-mile mark before getting any work done on the vehicle. Don’t be surprised to see some with over 400,000 miles still going strong. The fourth generation Maxima’s 3-liter V6 from this year helped the Maxima make it onto the list of Ward’s 10 Best Engines and went on to win the Import Car of the Year from Motor Trend.
